FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Adashiko really made in New Zealand?+
Yes — Adashiko products are formulated and manufactured in New Zealand. This is distinct from many “NZ brands” whose products are actually made offshore and imported for packaging. Full manufacturing provenance is confirmed on each product page.
What kind of collagen is in the powders?+
Adashiko’s collagen powders are made from porcine collagen peptides, types I and III. They are sold as a nutritional product, not a medicine. Adashiko’s topical range, such as the Collagen and Noni Gel, uses marine collagen instead. The powders dissolve in hot or cold liquids.
Are there therapeutic or health claims for collagen?+
Adashiko collagen powder is a food supplement. Adashiko does not make therapeutic claims. If you have dietary concerns, pregnancy, or medical conditions, consult a registered healthcare professional before adding any supplement.
What’s the difference between the Pure, Ultra, and Joints powders?+
Pure is the base porcine collagen powder. Ultra adds additional nutrients for those seeking a higher-intensity formulation. Joints is formulated with collagen types more associated with joint tissue. Full ingredient lists are on each product page.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?+
Adashiko’s topical range uses plant-forward formulations. Individual sensitivities vary — we recommend patch-testing any new topical product.
How long does NZ shipping take?+
Ships in 1–2 business days from our Parnell, Auckland showroom. Metro Auckland often next-day; elsewhere in NZ 2–4 business days.
What’s your returns policy?+
Unopened items returnable within 30 days. Supplements and opened topicals cannot be returned for safety reasons (except in the case of product faults). Full terms.
